Beginnings

Our Interests in boating became an entrepreneurial challenge back in the 1970's with the purchase of a 16' 1957 Thompson Runabout in need of repair. Its repair brought the attention of other boat owners in the area who saw our progress and recognized the abilities of our growing family company. It is with that beginning that we used our reputation to expand. With the backing of our parent company we recognized the need to supply our services to other boating enthusiasts in our local area.

Our services of Abrasive Blasting of boat trailers and painting of those trailers, bottom painting kept evolving our company. It is with those basic services that soon small fiberglass repairs instrumentation, gel coat repairs, our ability to research for particular boats were becoming our specialty. It was those services that brought our involvement of the Marine Services addition to our company.

Summer 2017

LMC Marines Services is offering Yacht Delivery with Captain BOB this service will expand our services with Corporate Yachts, private yachts and working vessels.

A recent project for LMC is a Mahogany 1942 Century 17' Sea-maid found in a field in New Jersey. A limited model with all matching numbers makes this project an extraordinary find. Extensive engine and Transmission work makes the runabout a classic restoration.

Current Project

Our Saltwater project is a 1998 Luhrs 32' Sport Fish. The recent upgrades of new Instrumentation audio, visual electrical upgrades and the 700 HP 454 Power plants make it an economical but powerful fishing platform. The great reviews of this Sport Fish with its Carolina flare make it affordable and a classic find.
